Single-phase step-down transformers of the OHM and OMP type included in the AC network with a frequency of 50 Hz are designed to power block-complete cathodic protection devices for main pipelines, voltage reduction in power grid networks, power alarm and auto-locking equipment for railways, as well as power other electricity consumers in temperate climates.
